Our beginning learner program, Starfish, is geared toward children not yet exposed to an ABA approach and not ready for ‘typical' education. Starfish is our 1:1 program, with a primary focus on language development. Starfish also learn social, academic, self-care, and basic compliance skills.

The next step in our program is Stingrays. Stingrays have a 2:1 student to teacher ratio. Stingrays have learned the skills in the Starfish curriculum, and are now busy taking on independent work and pair activities that will lead to even larger group pursuits!

The third tier of our educational program is a class called Dolphins. The Dolphins group consists of 3 students and 1 teacher. The children in Dolphins further their ability to work in a group while still completing individualized work and having individualized goals.

Our final program is the Whales program. Whales are our ‘big kids.' They are busy working in small groups, raising their hands, and listening to group instructions. Whales can sit at their desks, collaborate on assignments, and complete worksheets and other tasks without individualized instruction.

Transition: Children who are beyond our Whales phase are introduced to typical educational settings. Our relationships with area pre-school and elementary schools afford our kids the best of both worlds, as they can utilize the familiarity and experience with our staff and programming to help them move into the previously unknown world of typical academia. Our staff, who to this point have been the child's primary teachers, shadow the child in his or her new setting until the child is comfortable being there independently.

Continuing education program: For children who don't feel comfortable in a traditional classroom environment, we provide extended learning services. Your child can receive 1:1 through 5:1 instruction as long as is necessary for them to reach their goals.
